Paleo BBQ sauce

6 oz can tomato sauce
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tsp ground mustard or 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
3 Tbsp honey, or 4 dates soaked in water for 15 minutes
2 Tbsp coconut aminos
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika

Add all ingredients to a medium sized saucepan and whisk together. Bring to a simmer over medium/high heat.

Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until sauce has thickened to desired consistency.

Let cool. Store in an airtight container. Will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator, or freeze in batches.
