Day 51 - 52. The Royal We


Though televised weddings don't have the best marriage track record, I believe these two will make it. 

Thanks to hulu, I didn't stay awake until the sun came up, to see the royal fairytale wedding, but rather watched it on replay (and replay). The celebrities! The music! The wedding train! The traditional vows and venue juxtaposed with .. preggers Posh Spice! No wonder 2 BILLION people kicked back with a bowl of popcorn and cake. Global sporting events garner viewing numbers like that, so Kate Middleton had her game face on. My favorite part was Kate's gorgeous dress and hair (no updo!). And she did her own makeup; I have a whole new level of respect for her. Prince William's attire was ok, but I preferred the uniform of his younger brother aka now the most eligible bachelor in the world. The Boldest fashion choice award goes to the "ninja nun" who wore Reebok trainers. Only to be rivaled by the hats donned by some of the 1,900 invitees... ohhhh the hats...
Back on topic: all this makes me wonder if anyone has ever had a SCD-legal wedding cake?:)
