... well instead of saying I failed at making almond milk yogurt, I'm going to say that I successfully made an extremely watery yogurt blob soup! It tastes good, especially with honey and in smoothies, but it is definitely not yogurt.

I went out today with my college girlfriends to an Asian Bistro. The waiter there said that all their fish/chicken items were pre-marinated with a minor amount of sugar. In fact, I believe that the meat came to the restaurant this way from the supplier, which is very common. Sometimes the marinade has gluten too, which is why even plain chicken is not marked gluten free.
Drugs: My maintenance med is sulfasalazine. Asacol never really worked for me and I didn't fully realize that until I switched to the sulfa, which works better enough. The only problem is that it gives me near constant migraines so I'm always a little too eager to taper it to a lower dose! (Which my doc says I can do using my own judgment.) I tapered a bit in the last couple weeks, but I'm going back up now. Crazy as it seems, I prefer migraines to other options - Remicade, 6-MP, Imuran - which I've absolutely avoided.
